Asset Management Law and Investment Funds Law
Asset Management is one of the supporting pillars of the Liechtenstein financial centre. With the commencement of the Asset Management Act on January 1st, 2006, the new position of a financial intermediary (asset manager) in Liechtenstein has been created. This intermediary operates professionally in the field of asset management and investment advice and is detached from the profession of a trustee. With this new profession, cross-border asset management is guaranteed on the basis of the free provision of services within the European market. Thanks to the "European passport", asset managers resident in Liechtenstein are allowed to also offer their services in the European market.
We not only advise our clients on the formation of asset management companies but also on all questions relating to supervision law, in particular with regard to supervisory authorisation. In this respect, we draw up contracts and professionally resolve all legal questions.
